As an eligible employee, you may choose the coverage that best suits your needs:
Medical, Dental & Vision
For medical, choose between a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO)/Point of Service (POS) or our High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) through UnitedHealthcare (UHC).
Through UnitedHealthcare’s dental plan, you receive coverage for preventive and diagnostic care, basic treatment, major treatment and orthodontia for adults and children.
Through our vision plan provided by Vision Service Plan (VSP), you receive benefits for eye exams, lenses, frames, and contact lenses.
With each medical plan, you have the option to participate in a Health Care Flexible Spending Account (with PPO or POS) or a Limited Health Care Flexible Spending Account (with HDHP), which allows you to set aside money, before taxes, to pay or reimburse for eligible medical, dental, and vision expenses.
If you elect to participate in the HDHP, you can contribute pre-tax money to a Health Savings Account (HSA). An HSA provides a tax-free way to help build savings for future medical expenses. Western Midstream will match 100% of the first $800 you contribute for coverage for yourself or $1,500 to cover any family members.
You may also choose to participate in a Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DCFSA), which lets you side aside up to $5,000 annually, before taxes, to pay or reimburse yourself for expenses incurred to provide day care for your dependents. These expenses include care at licensed nursery schools, before- and after-school care, day camps, and even household services related to the care of the elderly or disabled individuals who live with you.
Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance
Western Midstream provides you with life insurance valued at two times your benefit salary and provides you the option to purchase supplemental life insurance up to five times your benefit salary through MetLife.
The Company also provides you with Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance valued at one time your benefit salary (up to a maximum of $1.5 million), payable to your beneficiary if you die or you if you experience a loss of limb(s) due to a covered accident. Supplemental AD&D insurance is also available to purchase for yourself or your family members to pay out a maximum of 10 times your benefits salary, up to $1.5 million.
