Robert Bourne has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of the general partner of Western Midstream Partners, LP since October 2019.

Mr. Bourne brings more than 30 years of experience in midstream corporate business development to WES. Most recently, Mr. Bourne served as Vice President, Business Development, Midstream and Marketing at Apache Corporation and as a director of Altus Midstream Company before joining Occidental in August 2019. Mr. Bourne has led midstream corporate development efforts at Shell Trading (formerly Coral Energy), American Midstream Partners, Gas Solutions, Energy Transfer Partners, Crosstex Energy (now EnLink Midstream). Much of Mr. Bourne’s career focused on producer and end-user relations and midstream business development.

Mr. Bourne holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Louisiana State University.
