Fred Forthuber has served as a director of our general partner’s board of directors since December 2021 and currently serves as a member of the Sustainability Committee. He previously served as President of Oxy Energy Services, LLC, a subsidiary of Occidental. In that role, Mr. Forthuber had global functional responsibility for midstream and marketing of crude oil, natural gas liquids, and natural gas. Since June 2023, Mr. Forthuber has served as a Director of the Board of Directors of Net Power Inc., a NYSE-listed company focused on renewable energy.

Mr. Forthuber has more than 35 years of industry experience in oil and gas operations. He held positions of increasing responsibility in engineering and project management at Occidental following Occidental’s acquisition of Altura Energy in 2000. He also served as Vice President, Worldwide Operations for Occidental Oil and Gas Corporation. Prior to joining Occidental, Mr. Forthuber served in engineering roles for Altura Energy and Exxon. 

Mr. Forthuber holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering Systems from the United States Merchant Marine Academy and an Executive Scholar Certificate in Finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
