Kristen Shults has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the general partner of Western Midstream Partners, LP since May 2022. She was previously Senior Vice President, Finance and Communications of the general partner of Western Midstream Partners, LP since May 2021 and served as Vice President, Investor Relations and Communications when she joined the company in November 2019.

Mrs. Shults has over 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Since joining Anadarko in 2015, Mrs. Shults served in various roles of increasing responsibility throughout Anadarko’s tax organization, including Director of Tax Compliance and Reporting and Worldwide Tax Manager. Mrs. Shults began her career in the tax practice of Ernst & Young, LLP.

Mrs. Shults holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Masters in Professional Accounting from The University of Texas in Austin and is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in Texas.
