Peter Trombley has served as Vice President and Associate General Counsel of Western Midstream since November 2019.

Mr. Trombley has over 28 years of experience in the energy industry. Mr. Trombley joined Anadarko as Senior Counsel in 2015 and was later promoted to Managing Senior Counsel of Midstream and Marketing. Before joining Anadarko, Mr. Trombley served in various in-house legal roles, including Associate General Counsel at Kinder Morgan, Inc. and Senior Counsel at Copano Energy, LLC. He also served time in private legal practice at Jones Day in Houston and McDermott, Will & Emery in Washington, DC. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Trombley was a Manager of Regulatory Affairs for Shell Oil Company and a Project Manager for American Electric Power.

Mr. Trombley holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University in College Station and a J.D. from The University of Tulsa and. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and the District of Columbia. Mr. Trombley is an active member of the Energy Bar Association.
